The MAUPITI'HOE experimentation aimed to deployed around the volcanic reef island of Maupiti (french polynesia) an important combination of hydrodynamic equipment (ADV, ADP, pressiometers; up to 64 sensors) and three seismometers (including broadband features) to analyze the seismic noise driven by the local wave field, the impact of Pacific waves onto the reef and the other possible interactions between nearshore hydrodynamics and reef bottom. The experimentation standed for 4 months.
