This study investigates the current extent of virtual reality (VR) implementation and the predominating attitudes towards VR exposure therapy (VRET) among German psychotherapists. Aiming to identify relevant determinants of practitioners' intention to use VRET in their practice, the current usage intention and potentially associated variables will be assessed in a Germany-wide online survey. Subsequently, the experience of two VR height scenarios and its effect on the psychotherapists' usage intention will be examined among a subset of survey participants.
