This data was gathered as part of a cross-sectional observational study that examined the overlap between flow proneness, work engagement and their nomological networks. The online questionnaire yielded 487 responses, but four persons showed an unusual response pattern (i.e., careless responses). We labeled those as doubtful cases and excluded them from the main analysis.
The final sample consisted of 483 participants from the general working population. Participants had to work for at least 20 hours per week, which ensured sufficient work exposure for the study purposes. Respondents were included regardless their age, sex or job sector.
