This database is part of a research project whose goal is to investigate the state of mobile application development in the context of Brazilian state governments. It is composed of two datasets:
1) Metadata of mobile apps made available by Brazilian state public sector agencies on Google Play in July 2020. The data was collected using web scraping script developed in R.

privacy-policy-link: link to the privacy policy, if available
model-distribution: distribution model adopted by the application (SuperApp, Decentralized or Centralized)
2) Comments published on mobile app pages offered by Brazilian state-level public sector agencies on Google Play between January 2019 and July 2020. Collected using the Appbot tool.
