The temple was officially opened on 6 July 1997 on the Dalai Lama’s birthday. A two-storey structure with a three-tiered ‘floating’ roof, the temple stands in the background of the steppe landscape. The front of the temple has two lines of rotating prayer cylinders called kyurde. To the left of the temple is erected a statue of Tsagan Aav. In this video Mikhail talks about the temple.
