This present thesis is dedicated to the design and the synthesis of novel biologically active and fluorescent heterocycles from common starting materials. Based on Palldium(0) catalyzed reactions, a series of new ethynylated naphthalenes, ethynylated naphthaleneindoles, benzo[b]carbazolediones, benzofuroindoles and furodiindoles were synthesized with high yield. Synthesized compounds show interesting fluorescence properties with high quantum yields (19-78%). The benzocarbazolediones can be used as selective inhibitors against nucleotide pyrophosphatase.
