This research conducted by KBTU students aimed to explore the relationship between higher education and economic development. The study was conducted using a questionnaire that was distributed to students from five different universities in Kazakhstan: KBTU, SDU, IITU, AlmaU, and Satpayev University. The data collected from the participants was analyzed through qualitative data analysis techniques to draw meaningful conclusions about the importance of higher education for economic development. The results of the study indicated that the majority of respondents believed that higher education was essential for economic development and led to higher wages and better employment opportunities. Additionally, the study found that there was a strong correlation between a country's GDP and the level of higher education of its citizens. Overall, the research conducted by KBTU students sheds light on the crucial role that higher education plays in promoting economic development. The findings of this study may be useful to policymakers, educators, and other stakeholders in the field of education and economic development.
