This video is a summary of the workshop carried out with shellfishers from Combarro, in Galicia (Spain), on June 30, 2021. The objectives of the workshop were threefold: (1) to provide an up-to-date overview of the main ecosystem services supplied by seagrasses, including benefits to shellfishing activity; (2) to facilitate dialogue about local interactions between shellfishing activity and Zostera meadows; and (3) to discuss potential proposals for management and improvement of the relationship between shellfishers and Zostera. The video is part of the Supplemental Material from a paper published in Marine Policy Journal, entitled "Disentangling interactions between seagrasses and small-scale fisheries using scientific and local traditional knowledge", which is framed within the ZEUS project (Understanding the role of Zostera beds in maintaining populations of shellfish resources in a climate change scenario). Please check the paper for detailed information.
