Headland Archaeology undertook a trial trench evaluation at Deanslade Farm, Lichfield, Staffordshire in order to inform a planning application relating to the residential development of the site. Evidence for land drainage and a spread of modern refuse across the site was found. Otherwise, no deposits, finds or features of archaeological significance were identified during the course of the evaluation.
