This report presents the results of an archaeological evaluation undertaken by AOC Archaeology Group on behalf of Parabola Edinburgh Ltd, on a land plot located at Edinburgh Park. The site comprised a brownfield site divided into two areas measuirng 6ha and 1.6ha. The development area was known for substantial deposits of made ground. Excavations were only permitted in certain areas as agreed in the WSI The evaluation consisted of a combination of test pits and late test pits due to the depth of the made ground being unstable. A single area to the north east of site was not investigated as it was frequently in use by members of the public. The evaluation revealed extesive deposits of made ground directly overlying a mixed clay subsoil which demonstrated varying degrees of disturbance. No significant archaeological features or artefacts were recovered during the evaluation.
