This collection comprises raw laser scan data, meshes, and models from scanning conducted at Wells Cathedral, Somerset. Wells Cathedral has vaults dating from the twelfth to the fifteenth century. The high vaults, the vaults of the choir aisles and retrochoir, the Lady Chapel, the Chapter House and the cloister were scanned by Dr Nicholas Webb, Dr Alexandrina Buchanan, Dr James Hillson and JR Peterson on 12th-14th October 2019 as part of 'Tracing the Past', a research project examining the design and construction of medieval vaults.
