A geophysical survey and LiDAR data analysis was undertaken over approximately 60ha within the grounds of the former Cadbury Somerdale Factory at Keynsham, Bath & North East Somerset. The primary objective was to cover all accessible areas by magnetometry with earth resistance survey (resistivity) used in support to target specific parts of the site where additional detail may be required. In support of the geophysics, LiDAR analysis was carried out on data derived from survey work carried out by the Environment Agency. The survey located a large number anomalies that can be identified as ditches, enclosures, pits, buildings and roads or tracks that are associated with a Roman settlement covering at least 8ha.
