Headland Archaeology undertook a watching brief during construction of a residential development on land at Park Farm, Thornbury, South Gloucestershire. The excavation revealed ditches forming part of a Romano-British enclosure, a section of likely medieval metalled surface and a modern ditch. These finding correlated well with results from previous mitigation excavation of the site.
