A Heritage Statement has been prepared for the St Johns Ambulance Building in Conduit Hill, Rye. The Site has a high potential for containing Medieval and Post Medieval remains. Outbuildings, probably dating from the late 18th or earlier 19th century stood on the site of the current building until the mid 20th century. Although these and the later building may have impacted on any archaeological remains on the site, it is likely that remains still survive. Evidence for the 18th-19th century outbuildings may also survive.
