The archaeological watching brief comprised of the monitoring of the excavation for a flat concrete 'raft' foundation. A single archaeological feature was encountered during the watching brief this was a north east to south west aligned wall. Its position within the stratigraphic sequence, sitting upon the subsoil and its alignment with the current property, suggest a Victorian date for the structure. No other archaeological features were observed during the watching brief however this was due to the shallow nature of the excavations (0.25m).
