Geophysical survey and the excavation of 11 test trenches were undertaken to examine geophysical anomalies and archaeological features indicated from previous work. At Goldfields Farm, Late Iron Age/early Roman-British field boundaries were investigated. The date and extent of a small late Romano-British inhumation cemetery were further defined. At Myncen Farm, a known late Romano-British building complex was further examined; much demolition debris, parts of five rooms and evidence relating to a bath house were recorded. There was no evidence of any direct link between the two sites in the late Romano-British period. Post-Roman re-use of the Romano-British buildings was illustrated by post holes cutting through some of the walls.
