A heritage impact assessment has been conducted by the Clwyd-Powys Archaeological Trust in connection with proposals for additional parking, a new entrance and improved access at Oswestry School in Shropshire. The assessment considered potential heritage impacts from all aspects of the proposed scheme and concluded that in most cases the impact would be no change or negligible, while a minor impact is predicted on the boundary wall and the setting of the Headmaster's House as a result of the proposed changes to the 'Last Day Entrance', and also to the setting of Maes-ylan as a result of the new car park access.
