NAA were commissioned to undertake a rapid archaeological survey and assessment in advance of peat restoration works on Lodge and Riggs Moor, Nidderdale, North Yorkshire (NGR SE 029 735). The project area comprised approximately 14.23km2 of upland defined as requiring assessment. A total of 83 heritage assets were surveyed, including 26 newly discovered sites, expanding the existing knowledge and understanding of the archaeology of Nidderdale.
