Archaeological features within the watched areas were present in the form of a probable coaxial Post-medieval field system at the western end of the site, as well as two further intercutting undated linear features and two undated pits or tree throws in the southeast of the site. Artefactual evidence was sparse within the watched areas and mainly consisted of late Post-medieval/Modern material. However, a single sherd of late Bronze Age-early Iron Age pottery was recovered from a subsoil layer in the northeast area of the site. Observations made during the watching brief identified that there were preserved subsoils across the majority of the site, which would suggest good preservation conditions for any potential archaeology that might survive outside of the monitored areas.
