Detailed magnetometry was carried out over 3.6ha using a hand-pushed, 5 channel cart-based system. The results demonstrate the presence of a weak, fragmented, positive linear anomaly that could relate to a cut, ditch-like feature which has been truncated by ridge and furrow. Other short, positive linear and discrete positive responses have also been located, but they generally lack a coherent morphology. The site also contains a zone of strongly magnetic debris which is surrounded by weakly positive amorphous responses which could relate to former clay pits.
