Half metre twin probe resistivity at 0.5m reading interval. Fluxgate gradiometry at 1m line interval and 8 readings per metre. Earth resistance detected more than magnetometry did. Neither would have reliably located the cairn which had been located by excavation. Lidar indicates that areas to the east and west of the stone area have been levelled, possibly by quarrying or for agricultural purposes. The main result was a probable ditch, which at 5m wide could be a boundary ditch.
