A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 2.2 hectares of grassland. There is evidence of historic ridge and furrow cultivation across the site, supporting the deskbased assessment, and indicating that the site has a largely agricultural past. Two small discrete positive anomalies, indicative of former backfilled pits, may be of archaeological or natural origin; however this cannot be determined with any degree of confidence. The remaining features are modern in origin and relate to nearby ferrous metal objects.
