Detailed magnetometry carried out over 1ha using a 5 sensor, hand-pushed cart-based system. The results indicate the presence of a small number of positive linear and discrete responses; however, it is not possible to determine if they relate to cut features as they lack a coherent morphology. Negative linear anomalies could relate to land drainage, but this is not certain. A series of agricultural anomalies relates to former ridge and furrow, there is evidence that the former furrows may either contain land drains or magnetic debris that has become incorporated into the fill. Much of the site contains magnetic contamination with discrete responses; however, the south western part of the site contains strongly magnetic debris relating to material used in ground make-up.
