An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by Wessex Archaeology on ground reduction works associated with the redevelopment of the site for residential use. The watching brief identified significant truncation across the site, with only modern/late post-medieval remains recorded, comprising the pad for a late19th/early 20th crane, a 20th century foundation and a 20th century wall.
