Archaeological evaluation by trial-trenching carried out before the construction of a single dwelling. The development site is within a village that had a thriving pottery industry from the 16th to 19th centuries. The site is also near prehistoric activity, and a Roman cremation cemetery. Despite this, only three 19th- to 20th-century features were found.
