HER search and NHLE data download; site visit; historic map regression; LiDAR and aerial photograph analysis; local archives; online and published sources including grey literature There are no designated or non-designated heritage assets recorded on the HER within the Site. However, seven assets were identified during the course of the DBA within the Site, consisting of the below-ground remains of a Post-Medieval or earlier parish boundary, Post-Medieval field boundaries and possible drainage ditches; and the site of a Post-Medieval farm. A geophysical survey carried out by Headland Archaeology in December 2021 found no evidence of settlement activity, with the majority of anomalies being geological in nature, although it did identify the course of the parish boundary. Within the Site, there was assessed to be low potential for previously unknown remains of Palaeolithic and Neolithic - Modern date; negligible potential for previously unknown remains of Mesolithic date; and medium potential for palaeoenvironmental remains.
