Headland Archaeology (UK) Ltd undertook a programme of Archaeological Trial Trenching on land at Elms Farm, Watling Street, Hinckley, prior to the determination of a planning application for the construction of four poultry sheds and associated infrastructure. The trial trench evaluation involved the excavation of nine trenches all of which were devoid of archaeological features.
