Detailed magnetometry was carried out ahead of a second phase of development at Catsbrain Farm, using a hand-pushed, cart-based system of 5 magnetometers spaced 0.5m apart collecting data at 20Hz. The results indicate the presence of a number of positive linear, discrete and amorphous responses. There appears to be some truncation of several linear anomalies, possibly indicative of infilled ditch-like features, by later agricultural activity, although their origin is uncertain. It is not possible to determine if a number of amorphous and discrete responses relate to anthropogenic activity or if they are associated with natural features.
