The national "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan for Digital Economy Development" explicitly states that the digital economy has become the third major economic form in our country. It is becoming a significant driving force for economic development, cultivating new momentum, exploring new paths for supply and demand matching, and aiding the upgrade of industrial chains. To further optimize the data production, storage, exchange, and utilization methods of scientific journals, and explore data intercommunication among various systems and the future expansion of data ecology applications, we aim to enhance the quality and efficiency of digital publishing. By deeply mining the data value of scientific journals, extending the industry value chain, and leveraging the multiplier effect of data as a new production element, we strive to promote the rational allocation of resources like technology, material, and talent in the digital economic era. This effort is geared towards advancing the high-end development of the scientific journal industry. Under the guidance of the China Association for Science and Technology, the standards group has carried out the construction of the structured standard specifications for the full texts of Chinese STM journals. This standard takes into full account the current status of the publication of STM journals in our country, meets the needs of the global scientific journal academic community, and is adapted from the existing Journal Archiving and Interchange Tag Library NISO JATS Version 1.3 (ANSI/NISO Z39.96-2021) specification, combining years of effective practices in journal production and data processing in China. This document was drafted by the Chinese Medical Journals Publishing House Co.Ltd. and Formax BPO Beijing Inc. The main drafters are Shen Xibin, Peng Jinsong, Li Lu, and Xiao Yun.This dataset includes main standard documents of Chinese STM Journal Article Tag Set, Schema documents, DTD documents, full text structured samples, and data production handbooks.
