Site RAÄ 121:1, at Fänsåker 1:25 was investigated in 1991, as part of plans to set up a preschool in the area. The remains at RAÄ121:1 har earlier been registered as an indefinite stone circle. During an investigation in 1990 the site's categorization was changed to heap of fire-cracked stones connected to a settlement layer.
The 1991 investigation focused on the stone heap, but also uncovered 16 other features, including hearths, postholes, and other cultural remains. The heap itself yielded ceramic sherds, knapping stones, bones burnt and unburnt, flint chips, and a greenstone axe fragment. Two C14 samples from the heap were dated to between the Late Bronze and and Early Iron age.
