Dataset: Reports the average retail price of electricity to ultimate customers by end-use sector. The residential sector consists of living quarters for private households. Common uses of energy associated with this sector include space heating, water heating, air conditioning, lighting, refrigeration, cooking, and running a variety of other appliances. The residential sector excludes institutional living quarters. Average retail price of electricity to ultimate customers by end-use sector. Data are shown in cents per kilowatt hour (kWh). kWh is a measure of electricity defined as a unit of work or energy, measured as 1 kilowatt (1,000 watts) of power expended for 1 hour.
