Energy Information Administration (2015). Electric Energy Average Price: Transportation Sector | Country: USA | State: Oklahoma | Energy Finance Metric: Average Price, 08/2013-11/2014. Data-Planet™ Statistical Ready Reference by Conquest Systems, Inc. [Data-file]. Dataset-ID: 004-003-005.
Dataset: Reports the average retail price of electricity to ultimate customers by end-use sector. The transportation sector consists of all vehicles whose primary purpose is transporting people and/or goods from one physical location to another. Included are automobiles; trucks; buses; motorcycles; trains, subways, and other rail vehicles; aircraft; and ships, barges, and other waterborne vehicles. Vehicles whose primary purpose is not transportation (eg, construction cranes and bulldozers, farming vehicles, and warehouse tractors and forklifts) are classified in the sector of their primary use. Note: Various EIA programs differ in sectoral coverage. See http://www.eia.doe.gov/neic/datadefinitions/Guideforwebtrans.htm for an explanation of the variations of the transportation sector used by EIA system(s). The EIA began reporting electricity prices for the transportation sector in 2003; prior to 2003, prices for the transportation sector were included in the ""Other" sector dataset.
