Dataset: Shows crop prices received by producers, by state and crop.
Presents data on crop prices, by commodity and state. Prices received represent sales from producers to first buyers. They include all grades and qualities. The average commodity price from the survey multiplied by the total quantity marketed theoretically should give the total cash receipts for the commodity. Individual producers normally market commodities few times during the year. Prices are annual or marketing year averages. (Marketing year represents a one-year period, beginning at the start of the new harvest for a commodity and extending to the same time in the following year.)
