Dataset: The 72 Education indicators include metrics on education in four topical areas: Efficiency, Inputs, Outcomes, and Participation. Efficiency indicators include data on persistence to grade 5 and to last grade of primary schooling for males, females, and total. Inputs indicators include data on expenditures, teacher-pupil ratios, teacher salaries, and more. Outcomes indicators include data on expected years of schooling, literacy rates, school completion rates, and duration of primary and secondary schooling. Participation metrics include data on enrollments.

The World Bank provides broad and open access to a comprehensive set of data about development in countries around the globe as an aid to policymakers and advocacy groups in developing effective policies and monitoring the implementation of poverty reduction strategies and progress towards global goals.
