Burnout syndrome has attracted the attention of the academic community over the past decades. However, few studies are focused on Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Programming (CBT), regarding its prevention in the corporate environment. Therefore, the present research aims at identifying the factors that somehow interfere with the burnout syndrome in Brazilian selected business cases through metadata analysis, extensive literature review and exploratory, and cross-sectional action research of a multiple-methods approach. Key findings pointed out a strict number of factors interfering in the burnout process. The results are analyzed and discussed in the light of NLP and CBT, throwing more light on the prevention of burnout syndrome in organizations. Analysis, discussion, and recommendations for future research compile the present study.
