Supplemental Figure 1. LSz1 and LSz2. This figure shows the raw data, absolute LSz1 and LSz2 for all conditions: Control 1st Sz, Control 2nd Sz, KE 1st Sz, and KE 2nd Sz. This graph illustrates the variability in the dives under each condition (Control = 9; KE = 14). There was no significance between the control and KE-treated groups (p=0.0944). However, there was a significant increase in LSz2 in the KE-treated group (p=0.0369). One-way Anova statistical test was used. Supplemental Figure 2. Pharmacokinetic Effect of KE on blood BHB (n=8). Baseline blood BHB and glucose were taken at time point 0hr. Oral gavage of KE was administered immediately after baseline measurements. Blood BHB measured at the following time points: baseline, 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 24hr post-gavage. The graph illustrates control (water-gavage; ®), 2.5g/kg KE dose (■), and 7.5g/kg KE dose (·). There was a significant difference between the 7.5g/kg KE dose and the control group (p=0.0138).
