This chapter focuses on the citizen’s perspective in public management and explores public sector challenges as perceived by citizens. Findings indicate that efficiency of public tasks, citizen participation in decision-making, and government transparency about its performance are perceived as biggest challenges. Perceived public sector challenges differ across sector of employment and age groups.
