Holstein cows were infused abomasally with 60 g/d of ethanol (CON, n=6) or oleic acid (OA, n=6) for 14 d after calving. Circulating plasma total protein (mg/L), triglycerides (mg/dL), and albumin (g/dL) at -14, 4, and 10 days relative to calving. Data are means ± SEM.
