Image description: Picture of a strand of a self-extruded 1.75mm PLA bioplastic filament, pigmented with red, ±0.005mm of maximum deviation. 99.998% pure material. Extruded at 180°, room temp. 20°. The sample from which the offcut was taken had a lenght of 1000mm, and a cross section area of 5,4977mm². After being exposed to moisture in a sealed chamber with 90% humidity, in an atmosphere of air at nominal sea-level pressure, for a total period of 80 hours. Changes after said period of time resulted in an almost unchanged cross section and length, increasing its diameter by 1.36x10^-12mm. Measured using high resolution laser optical systems (TEM). The chamber has been sealed from outside UV light sources and it has been kept at room temperature for the whole duration of the exposure.
