These workshops were delivered as part of a larger project titled Mapping Urban-Driven Innovations for Sustainable Food Systems. The project drew directly on methodology developed by the global URBAL project team - that aimed at capturing and creating links between innovators, policy-makers, researchers and funders. Specifically, this methodology considers urban food innovation as social process and examines the social factors that contribute to food innovation success. That is –what are the relationships, networks, policies, learning, support systems created and experienced by humans that lead to food innovation.
