Evidence-based Practice (EBP) is an important concept within Healthcare. While several efforts have been made to ensure its integration into many physiotherapy practices worldwide, there are still some challenges in its use, more importantly in the understanding of what the concept is and how to use it clinically. This publication is a presentation by Dr. Beatrice Sankah, an emerging global expert on EBP. In this presentation, she discusses the theme "Evidence-based Practice in Physiotherapy" with a broad aim to ensure that physiotherapists' understand that EBP is not only research-informed practice but also includes the use of clinical expertise and patient preferences which are equally important like research use but are often missed by therapists.
