This literature review investigates the expansion of Medicare coverage and the evolving role of government healthcare policies to broaden therapeutic modalities for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) beyond traditional Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The review identifies the need for multi-dimensional treatment approaches that align with recent advancements in healthcare legislation and policy, advocating for an inclusive model to enhance accessibility and effectiveness in ASD interventions.
