In this study, we report four novel instances of frugivory by woodpeckers in Southern Brazil, specifically the Green-barred Woodpecker (Colaptes melanochloros), Campo Flicker (Colaptes campestris) and White-spotted Woodpecker (Dryobates spilogaster). Data was collected through opportunistic observations of fruiting plants in southern Brazil using binoculars and photographic and video cameras to document frugivory interactions.
