The contributed DAS data were acquired at Blue Mountain Geothermal Field, near Winnemucca, Nevada, USA in a deep vertical borehole. The project was conducted by Rice University in collaboration with Fervo Energy in February 2023. The well, 73-22, was a small diameter monitoring well (4.5" casing, 7998 ft TD) installed to track EGS stimulation activities. The deepest ~4500 ft of the well is in hard rock. Data were recorded on standard single-mode fiber installed behind the casing, terminating at 7915 ft BGS. All data were recorded on a Silixa iDAS v.2 in HDF5, at a sampling frequency of 1000 Hz, with a gauge length of 10 m and a spatial resolution of 2.0 m, resulting in a dense seismic array of 1408 channels. Data for the Global DAS month are available on PubDAS and provide one-hour continuous recordings after 123 large earthquakes (>M5) during February 2023. The available data comprise 120 channels with a spatial resolution of 20.429 m and a sampling frequency of 100 Hz.
