A submarine fiber-optic cable is deployed off the Muroto Cape, southwestern Japan, and its length is 128 km. Between February 1 and 28, 2023, seismic records for earthquakes with magnitudes greater than 5.0 were acquired by a distributed acoustic sensing measurement with an APSensing interrogator. The time length of the records is 60 min. The sampling rates for time and space are 100 Hz and 49.03224 m, respectively.
