The Sandia National Laboratories DAS system installed at Oliktok point, Alaska, consists of 37.6 km long single-mode oceanic cable connected to a Silixa iDAS interrogator. The cable extends offshore into the Beaufort Sea and it is emplaced below the seafloor interface at depths of 2 m up to 16 km, and 4 m beyond. The installation is presented and described in detail in Baker and Abbott (2022) and Stanciu et al (2023).
