The OSISEC network aims to contribute to the understanding of recursive seismological swarms occurring in the area (subduction of Carnegie Ridge, Ecuador, Northern Andes) and their relation with slow ruptures.
The network is an onshore - offshore seismological network composed of:
- 5 OBS : Geoazur-IRD (ship time from Inocar; Deploymen(s) IRD)
- 6 onland temporary stations (broad band sensor Reftek compact trillium 120 + acquisition Reftek 130 from Instituto Geofisico de la Escuela Polictenica Nacional (IG-EPN); Deployment and field : IRD researcher and IG-EPN)
- 4 permanent stations (broad bands GMG3EPSC and Reftek compact trillium 120 from Geoazur and IG-EPN; Deployment and field : IRD researcher and IG-EPN)
Onland and Offshore Installation time differs.
