In 2012, Hoadley Flowback Microseismic Experiment (HFME) was carried out in Alberta, Canada to monitor 24 hydraulic frac stages from two horizontal treatment wells using a retrievable 12-level 3C-receiver array in a vertical monitoring well, at a sampling rate of 4000 Hz. The geophone pods were installed at the end of 2057 m long multiconductor wireline. The inter-pod spacing for the bottom 8 units was 15.25 m whereas it was 30.5 m for the top 4 units.
