We plan to deploy 18 PASSCAL short-period REFTEKs across and along the fault line of the M6.3 earthquake occurring on February 21, 2011 in South Island of New Nealand to record fault-zone trapped waves generated by aftershocks for 3-4 months to examine the rock damage magnitude and extent in 3-D caused by the M6.3 mainshock and the post-mainshock fault healing with time.
