The Muldrow Glacier in the Alaska Range is currently undergoing a very rapid surge with ice motion exceeding 20 m/d. This event is creating seismicity of an unusual signature that can be seen at a permanent station 30 km away. This instrument request is for 6 seismometers to be temporarily deployed on land surrounding the glacier to better track this seismicity and potentially derive basal hydrology though monitoring seismic tremor. We request 6 Pegasus Compact stations.
